Primary Thesis: Three secular escape routes appear to offer alternatives to transhumanism — authoritarian natalism, immigration arbitrage, and managed decline — but each is a corridor leading to the same cell. The only genuine exit is architectural: a different relationship with technology, derived from the hylomorphic principle of form-matter unity.
Cold Open: You have followed the argument. The secular world cannot reverse the Identity Lock. The cascade is irreversible. The institutions are compromised. The objections are demolished. There must be a way out. There are three paths that look like exits. Each of them is a trap. We are going to close them one by one, and then I am going to show you what is actually on the other side.
S2 — Three False Exits: (1) Authoritarian natalism: any regime capable of enforcing reproductive quotas has already accepted the body as administrable matter. From “you must have children” to “you must have better children” is one administrative step. (2) Immigration arbitrage: the global fertility gradient is already collapsing. Sub-Saharan Africa’s TFR is falling faster than the UN projected. The Ponzi scheme closes when the supply dries up. (3) Managed decline: assumes elite self-abnegation with no historical precedent. Populations experiencing managed decline radicalize and demand solutions — and the only secular solutions are technological. The common architecture: each leaves underlying axioms intact; each is a delaying action; each is an on-ramp to transhumanism.
S3 — The Analog-Primary Principle (APP): The only genuine exit is an architectural disposition, not a policy. APP: the default mode of human engagement with the world should be embodied, direct, and materially embedded. The five discernment questions: Telic, Integration, Agency, Community, Sovereignty.
